That’s exactly it. The left is bad at messaging, as I’ve been saying and as MK pointed out upthread, which allows the right to define whatever “it” is, and then gish gallop people into thinking “it” is either some kind of bogeyman, or that the extreme example is what’s going on everywhere all the time.
